The FUSE program works to support young professionals serving in our community. We do this through actively volunteering with non-profit organizations throughout the region and advocating for quality of life; job growth, creation and entrepreneurship; housing inventory and affordability; local business support.
- Volunteer Shift at the State Theater — Offers a monthly opportunity to volunteer for the one of the premier volunteer-run organizations in our community. On the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5:00pm-7:30pm FUSE members volunteer for a load-in at the Traverse City State Theater. While there, we sell concessions and tear tickets as we usher people to their seats. In return, volunteers receive a voucher to see a movie on a future date and often get the opportunity to watch the currently playing movie (if space allows).
- FUSE Volunteer Crew — Features engaging opportunities to volunteer with different non-profit organizations each month while working side-by-side with service minded FUSE members to improve our community.
- FUSE Advocacy Committee — Offers highly engaged FUSE members an opportunity to make a difference through advocating for ballot proposals, issues and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for Young Professionals throughout the region.
