The Chamber’s Young Professionals will leave no Petoskey stone unturned at the Oct. 4 event, which will take place among the sweeping vistas of the Leelanau Outdoor Center in the midst of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The conference kicks off at 8 a.m. and continues through 5:30 p.m.
The unique outdoor setting will give YPs a chance for some unusual team-building and personal development activities that include a climbing wall, zipline, canoeing, a ropes course and an activity called “human foosball.”
The keynote speaker for the day is Bill Marsh Jr. whose presentation on personal branding will give YPs a step up on learning why personal branding is so important, critical steps needed on creating a strong personal brand and more. The day will end with a hike to the top of nearby Pyramid Point along Lake Michigan for a group photo from one of the most-spectacular views anywhere in Michigan.
