Traverse City, MI – Robin Wybenga, formally a League Representative with the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL), has joined TBA Credit Union as their new Chief Financial Officer. Robin was with the MCUL for five years and was a consultant for over 80 credit unions across the state of Michigan.
“We are very excited to bring Robin on board. She knows the credit union culture and has over thirty years of experience in finance,” says Karen Browne, President and CEO of TBACU. “Robin brings expertise in areas of operations, accounting, lending, human resources and compliance. She has also facilitated planning sessions and conducted educational classes in previous roles.”
Prior to joining the MCUL Wybenga was the CEO of Mid Michigan Credit Union in Saginaw for two years. She was also the CEO at Tri-Counties Credit Union from 1995-2004. Wybenga holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Davenport University and a Masters in Administration from Central Michigan University.
