Traverse City, MI – TBA Credit Union will continue a $20,000 partnership with Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS). Since 2010, TBA Credit Union has been a TCAPS Partner In Education with sponsorship funds being allocated toward Learning Enrichment and Athletic Programs (LEAP).
“TBA Credit Union supports TCAPS, our students and our teachers in so many ways, from sponsorships to teacher grants to the Student-Run Credit Union Program,” said Steve Cousins, superintendent of Traverse City Area Public Schools. “We are so grateful for the long-term investment TBA Credit Union has made to our schools as a valued Partner In Education.”
LEAP offers activities such as KidzArt, Drama Kids, Taste of the Arts and athletics to students. During the 2012-13 school year, 3,835 students benefited from free or reduces fees thanks to TBACU’s partnership with TCAPS.
