Kevin Schlueter, President of Kalkaska Screw Products. Kevin has eight years experience at Delphi Chassis Systems where he had numerous positions including: Manufacturing Engineer, Product Engineer, Production Supervisor, Service and Reliability Engineer, Quality Engineer, Design Release Engineer, and Lead Systems Engineer. Following his assignment at Delphi, Kevin worked for Skilled Manufacturing, Inc. in Traverse City, MI for eleven years. For 10.5 years, Kevin was the Director of Quality and Engineering for the Automotive Business Unit of SMI where he ran the all aspects of the technical side of the company including the Engineering, Tool Room, Quality and Maintenance Departments.
Prior to taking the assignment as the Plant Manager at KSP, Kevin spent 6 months at SMI’s Aerospace Business Unit as the Director of Engineering and Co-Manager of SMI Aero. On June 14, 2010 Kevin joined Kalkaska Screw Products as their Plant Manager, and was given the title of President on Jan 1, 2011. Kevin was a member of the External Advisory Board for the Mechanical Engineering / Engineering Mechanics Department of Michigan Technological University, and he is a founding member of a Co-Op Training Program for the Machine Tool Department at the Traverse Bay Intermediate School District.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Masters of Science in Administration – General Administration from Central Michigan University. Kevin has been married to Leana for 22 years, and as two children, Son Cameron (15) a Sophomore at Traverse City Saint Francis High School, and Daughter Lydia (11) a sixth grader at Saint Elisabeth Ann Seaton Middle School in TC.
