State Rep. Wayne Schmidt today announced office hours that will take place throughout the 104th District. A liaison from the Michigan Secretary of State office will also be on hand to answer any questions residents may have.
Schmidt is inviting residents to attend office hours to discuss issues of local and state concern. The lawmaker will have office hours on Monday, May 13, at the following times and locations:
• 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. – Traverse City Chamber of Commerce, 202 E Grandview Parkway, Traverse City;
• 11 a.m. to noon – Kingsley Village Center, 207 Brownson Ave., Kingsley;
• 1 to 2 p.m. – Bud’s in Interlochen, 3061 Michigan 137, Interlochen;
• 5 to 6 p.m. – Grand Traverse Pie Co. at 101 N Park St., Traverse City.
“I welcome hearing from concerned residents, and having office hours in Grand Traverse County makes it easier for citizens to meet with me,” said Schmidt, R-Traverse City. “For these office hours, I’m happy to have a liaison from the Michigan Secretary of State joining me. This will be a great opportunity for my constituents to ask any questions they may have regarding State Department issues.”
