The Traverse City Area Chamber is proud of its long history of service from community leaders in the Grand Traverse region. As the Chamber embarks on a new membership recruitment initiative, it’s fortunate that once again an impressive group of local business leaders are stepping up to help their – your- Chamber build its membership base.
The Chamber’s team of Membership Event chairmen and their professional affiliations include: Dan Stoudt Sr. of Huntington; John Cueter and Rick Summers of Fox Motors; Peg Jonkhoff of Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home; Jim Austin of Kalkaska Memorial Health Center; Alex Mowczan of Summerside Properties; Steve Rawlings of DTE Energy; Raymond and Marsha Minervini of The Village at Grand Traverse Commons; Mike Meindertsma of Northwestern Mutual; Pat Heintz of Bishop & Heintz, P.C.; Tony Anderson of Cherryland Electric and Bridgett Beckwith of Signs Now.
The chairmen met last week with Ellie Braxton, vice president of sales and marketing for Your Chamber Connection which is assisting Chamber Membership Director Sherry Galbraith with organizing the event. Braxton reviewed the guidelines, timing and other specifics of the membership event, which takes place Dec. 17 – 19 and will be headquartered at the Great Wolf Lodge.
The chairmen selected their team colors and are now recruiting at least five team captains who will spread themselves across the community as part of the Membership Event to tell the Chamber’s story and build support for the organization. Keep following the Chamber Bulletin for weekly updates for information on event sponsorships and more details. If you want to get involved, contact Sherry Galbraith at (231) 995-7112 or by email at email@example.com
