Traverse City-Based Insurance Professionals Earn National Honor

TRAVERSE CITY-BASED INSURANCE PROFESSIONALS EARN NATIONAL HONOR
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. — July 25, 2013 — Jim McDonnell and Laverna Witkop, two Life + health representatives with Ford Insurance Agency, were recently honored by the Leading Producers Round Table (LRPT) division of the National Association of Health Underwriters. McDonnell and Witkop both qualified to receive the organization’s prestigious Soaring Eagle Award.
The Soaring Eagle Award is the highest honor given by the LPRT, and is awarded to National Association of Health Underwriters members who have achieved exemplary success in both client service and overall industry expertise. Jim McDonnell is one of Ford Insurance’s agency principals, and brings years of experience to the table in life, health, personal, and business insurance. Laverna Witkop is a 27 year veteran of the insurance business. During her 15 years with Ford Insurance, Laverna has become Health Care Reform certified, serving her clients as an Employee benefits consultant and a Life insurance consultant. Both agents have been with Ford Insurance for several years and have received honors from the LPRT in the past.
