Grow Benzie will be offering a class “Getting Started” by Lisa Richter, kitchen manager of Grow Benzie’s Incubator Kitchen, on Monday, October 21st. This is the fifth in its 8- week series of classes ,”Making it Count”, which is designed to inspire & guide participants in starting their own food product business. The series will cover marketing, labeling, packaging, insurance, and getting retail ready. The classes will be held on Monday evenings, with a potluck at 5:30 followed by a presentation at 6:30, and Q & A. All are welcome to attend any or all classes and at either time. Workshops are free. Donations are welcome.
In “Getting Ready”, How to take the first steps , Richter, will explain the basic steps to getting started to making your food product in the incubator kitchen . From concept to all you need to know to know about food requirements to licensing, will be covered in this class.
