GROW BENZIE FEATURES “WEE BE JAMMIN’ SEPT. 9
Grow Benzie is featuring Simone Scarpace, founder of “Wee Bee Jammin” as the first of its 8 week series of classes entitled “Making It Count” on Monday, September 9, 2013.
The 8- Week series is designed to inspire and guide individuals to start their own food product business. All classes are on Mondays, beginning with a 5:30 pm potluck, and 6:30 pm presentation and Q & A. Everyone is welcome and may attend at either time. There is no charge for the evening; donations are welcome.
The story of Wee Bee Jammin’, located in Bear Lake, is both inspirational and informative, and will kick off the series. Simone Scarpace, owner, will share her story from the first idea, to making the product at an incubator kitchen, to having her own store and distribution of her jam line and more.
Future sessions in the series will cover marketing, labeling packaging, insurance, legal concerns, and getting retail ready.
