“We often watch movies on mental autopilot purely for the sake of their storytelling or entertainment value. Leadership at the Movies demonstrates the power movies can have to influence our behaviors as community leaders. By discussing the leadership strengths and challenges of the characters in the movies we gain an understanding of what works well and what can be changed in our own leadership styles to better influence desired outcomes.” Valarie Handy, Chair – Traverse City Young Professionals
