TRAVERSE CITY, MI —Cherry Wings Realty is once again dedicating itself to a cause related to our heroes. Two of its agents, Christine Stalsonburg and Karmin Philp, will serve on the board of directors of the Ryan Patrick Kennedy House, a PTSD Wellness Center dedicated to heroes with PTSD, to be located in Traverse City.
Stalsonburg, broker and owner of Cherry Wings Realty, will serve as CEO and President of the Board of Directors, and Philp, one of its Realtors, will serve as a board member. In addition, Cherry Wings Realty will donate five percent of its annual revenue to the Ryan Patrick Kennedy House.
“I want this wellness center to become a model for other communities around the country as they prepare to help our veterans heal from PTSD,” states Stalsonburg. “Our hope, in memory of Ryan, is that others with PTSD will never be turned away and will receive the help they need. We do not want to see another family suffer the loss of their loved one, post-war, when it could have been prevented.”
The Ryan Patrick Kennedy House, a PTSD Wellness Center to be located in Traverse City, is named in honor of Ryan Patrick Kennedy, who lost his battle with PTSD in August 2012 after serving in Operation Enduring Freedom and deployment to Afghanistan. The House’s mission is to provide a tranquil, safe and loving environment for Heroes with PTSD to heal.
Cherry Wings Realty, a full-service real estate brokerage, is owned by Christine and Larry Stalsonburg. It opened for business on October 1, 2012 and specializes in serving military, firefighters, police and emergency medical personnel with their housing needs. It is located at 4224 N.
