NOVEMBER 11, 2013, TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – Century 21 Northland, northern Michigan’s fastest growing real estate brokerage, has announced plans to open an office on Traverse City’s Old Mission Peninsula. The company now has offices in seven locations throughout northern Michigan.
The new office is slated to open in early December and will be located in Mapleton, next to local fixtures like the Peninsula Market, the Peninsula Grille, and Bad Dog Deli. The Northland site will be the first real estate office to set down roots on Old Mission Peninsula.
The Century 21 boutique office will strengthen its expertise in the market and will serve as a “home base” of sorts for Northland agents working in or around the Peninsula area. All Century 21 agents will have access to the space to work, meet with clients, arrange showings, and more. Northland will complete $17 million in sales in Peninsula Township this year, and eight agents call the peninsula home.
“We are proud to be the first real estate office located on Old Mission Peninsula,” said Northland co-owner Julia Lilley. “This is just one more milestone which solidifies our commitment to selling properties and homes in one of the most beautiful places in the state.”
Designed by Traverse City’s Whiteford Associates, Inc., the office will house private meeting spaces, an employee lounge, and a conference room. The space will have frequent office hours to accommodate walk-in traffic and to maximize Northland’s ability to serve clients.
This is the fourth strategic expansion Century 21 Northland has made since being formed in 2006. In 2009, the company opened their Suttons Bay office. In 2010, Sleeping Bear Realty was added to the Century 21 Northland brand. And in early 2013, Northland acquired Remerica Up North Properties, which now serves as its Elk Rapids office.
