Career-Tech Center Manufacturing Technology Program to Host FREE Science and Technology Kids Camp
TBAISD Manufacturing Technology Academy, 2600 Aero Park Drive, Traverse City
The Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District announces a FREE five-day kid’s technology camp from August 12-16 for students entering Grades 5-8. The camp will explore robotics logic, motion and programming introduced through Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) concepts applied through problem solving, hands-on experiments and teamwork.
The camp is hosted by the TBAISD Career-Tech Center Manufacturing Technology Academy located at the NMC Parsons-Stulen Building on Aero Park Drive in Traverse City. Two sessions will run daily from 8:30 -11:30 a.m and 12:30 -3:30 p.m.
Sponsorship of this program is provided through a grant from Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the Educational Advisory Group (EAG) and is developed to give young people the opportunity to gain science, engineering and technology skills and inspire innovation.
