Congratulations to our Small Business Celebration Top 10!

A dynamic mix of professional services firms, contractors, food and beverage makers and more highlight the Top 10 finalists in the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce 2017 Small Business Celebration.

The Top 10 SBC finalists are in the running to become the Chamber’s 2017 Hagerty Small Business of the Year. The next stop for the Top 10 is next month’s annual Meet the Top 10 Breakfast event that leads up to the SBC Awards Ceremony.

“Once again we have an outstanding group of local companies advancing in our Small Business Celebration,” Chamber Executive Director Max Anderson said. “Our judges had a difficult task in narrowing this year’s SBC participants down to 10 finalists, which really speaks to the strength of our region’s small business sector. We’re proud of all our Small Business Celebration participants this year, and very happy for our finalists.”

The next step in the Small Business Celebration is for the judges’ team to conduct site visits to each of the Top 10 to learn more about their operations and meet employees. The companies will be honored at the Meet the Top 10 Breakfast on May 16 at 7:30 a.m. at NMC’s Hagerty Center, a public event to celebrate this year’s finalists. The recipient of the Chamber’s 2017 Hagerty Small Business of the Year Award will be announced May 31 at the SBC Awards Ceremony starting at 4:30 p.m. at Hagerty Center.
