TITLE:                  Administrative Assistant

REPORTS TO:      Chief Operating Officer

FLSA STATUS:     Full Time, Hourly $10-$12 per hour


This position requires a highly organized, motivated, friendly, and energetic person to contribute to the Chamber’s wide range of administrative responsibilities and office support.  This position will assist all departments with administrative tasks and be required to manage multiple requests.   This position will be a member of the Chamber’s administrative Support Team.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Back-up of front desk coverage and Chamber Receptionist
  • Order and maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • Schedule meeting rooms as requested
  • Assist Support Team in keeping Chamber meeting rooms and kitchen area clean
  • Assist in providing administrative support for communication and marketing, events and programming, membership, government relations and economic development teams
  • Perform other related administrative responsibilities as needed
  • Do everything in your power to make the Chamber look good


Experience & Education

  • Previous secretarial/clerical experience in a professional office environment
  • Experience with all aspects of customer service
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Outlook
  • High school diploma or equivalent
